We are now looking for a hardware-near embedded developer for our client in the defense industry. You will be part of a growing team that develops features for advanced radio systems and radar systems connected to airborne systems. The work is close to both hardware and software, where you will be involved from design and implementation all the way to verification and lab testing.

In this role, you will primarily work with software development in C/C++ for FPGA-based solutions with embedded processors. There will be elements of firmware (VHDL), and you will have a daily routine where collaboration with other domains and system owners is a natural part of the delivery. The teams work in an agile manner, and assignments can vary from new features to modifications and further development of existing systems.

There are good opportunities for development over time, and the role can be partially shaped based on your background. Depending on where you have the most experience and interest, you can work more software-near in C/C++ or closer to the hardware.

We see that you have:

• At least 3 years of experience in hardware-near embedded programming.

• Good knowledge of C and C++.

• Understanding of how FPGAs (or equivalent) work.

We believe you thrive in an environment with high technical responsibility, where you are unpretentious, curious, and take initiative. You are also comfortable working cross-functionally and contributing where needed – from implementation to practical work in a lab environment.

Salary: Fixed monthly salary. Scope: Full-time, permanent. Start: Immediately, considering your possible notice period. Location: Gothenburg.
